How AdoTree works
One tree, one farmer, one season — and everything in between recorded.
AdoTree is not a carbon offset or a symbolic certificate. It is a working relationship with a specific tree on a specific farm, ending with fruit at your door.

From browsing to your first harvest.

Choose a tree that exists
Filter by fruit, farm or distance from you. Every listing carries a tree ID, GPS coordinates, the farm it stands on and the farmer responsible for it. Nothing on the catalogue is a stock photograph of a generic orchard.

Name it and mark the occasion
The name you choose appears on your certificate, in your garden and on the farmer's own record of that tree. Birthdays, weddings, memorials — the occasion travels with the tree.

Pay once for the season
One payment covers a twelve-month adoption: the farmer's care, the updates, and delivery of the harvest you claim. The farmer's share is set aside as a payout the moment your payment clears.

Follow the season
Growth records with dated photographs, a care log of every watering and feed, and live weather pulled from the tree's own coordinates. Ask for extra care and the farmer sees the request the same day.

Claim the harvest
When the fruit is ready your farmer records the real yield. Claim ten kilos now and twenty later, or all of it at once — the ledger tracks every kilo through packing, transit and delivery.

Adoption income arrives before the harvest does, and it comes from people who want to know your name.
Register and submit your farm
Create a farmer account, then submit your farm details and a KYC reference. We store a reference, never a full document number.
Get approved
An administrator reviews every application. Until you are approved you cannot list trees, receive requests or be paid.
List your trees
Register each tree with its species, planting date, coordinates and a photograph. Set the adoption price or use the species default.
Care, record, get paid
Respond to care requests, log the work with photographs, record the harvest, and receive payouts released against an auditable trail.

Is the tree a real, specific tree?
Yes. Each tree has its own ID, GPS coordinates, farm, farmer and photographic record. The weather you see is fetched from those coordinates.
What happens if the tree yields less than estimated?
You receive what the tree actually produced. Estimates are based on species, age and the farmer's assessment, and the ledger always shows the real figure.
Can I visit my tree?
Farm visits are arranged with the farmer through your tree page. Farms are working agricultural land, so visits are by appointment.
How is the farmer paid?
Adoption payments are settled to the farmer after the platform commission, tracked as an individual payout record with a full audit trail.
Can I gift a tree?
Yes. Choose the tree, name it, add your message, and the recipient receives a claim code that moves the tree into their own garden.
What if I no longer want the tree?
An adoption runs for its term and is not auto-renewed. Refunds before a season starts follow the refund policy on the legal pages.
